Nyanza Perch Limited is a Partnership Company incorporated in Uganda in May 2018 for fish processing and Export. The company has acquired the processing facilities of Gomba Fishing Industries Ltd, Jinja, Uganda, who were the pioneers in Nile Perch Processing and Exporting in Uganda. The facility, has an EU approval No U03/18. 

The facility has a freezing capacity of 25 tons a day with two plate freezers and a blast freezer. The storage capacity for both fresh chilled and frozen products is 350 tons.The facility has an approved HACCP system, and currently working on ISO certification. The staffs have very good knowledge and experience on the processing and Quality Control of Nile Perch Fillets. 

The company sources Nile Perch from licensed fish suppliers who has a supply contract with Nyanza Perch Ltd. The company provides free ice to the fishermen to ensure the freshness of fish caught and stored. All the fish arrivals are coded for traceability. The processing chain is rapid to avoid any temperature abuse and is monitored as per the HACCP plan. Only best products are packed for export. The company do periodic microbiological checks on the product and do hygiene swabs on the facility to ensure production of safe product. 

The frozen products are transported to Mombassa port by reefer containers for further shipment by ocean going vessels. The fresh chilled are transported to Entebbe International Airport for airfreighting.
